Overview

Curriculum Planner allows you to view planned modules for the next academic year, and to create, amend and delete information as appropriate. This short introduction course will show you how to use Curriculum Planner to confirm module data. The course will give you the opportunity to learn how to use Curriculum Planner, what information is required, have hands-on experience of the various functions and the chance to ask questions.

What will I get out of this course? 

On completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Know what Curriculum Planner is and what Module Planner can do for you
  • Confidently navigate around and use the different Curriculum Planner functions
  • Search for and update a variety of module records
  • Create, delete and lock module
  • Understand the data flow from Curriculum Planner to other student lifecycle processes
Who is it for?

Staff in academic departments who need to complete Curriculum Planning.

Participant preparation needed?

Pre-course reading and access to Curriculum Planner and Business Objects.

If you do not have Curriculum Planner access, or did not request it on your booking form, please contact Sarah in Student Records on 0116 373 6235.

If you do not have a Business Objects account you can request an account by contacting the IT Service Desk on 0116 252 2253.

What prior experience do I need?

Training is for colleagues who have never used Curriculum Planner before, and for those who want an opportunity to refresh their knowledge.
