Summary

Jon Scott started by explaining what stepped marking is and why it is useful. He showed how it is used in the Schools of Biological Sciences and Psychology at the University of Leicester and also showed other examples from the University of Reading and King's College London.

Dawn Watkins then explained how they use stepped marking in the School of Law and the impact it has had on the marks awarded.
