Summary

Sarah used online materials in face-to-face training sessions on literature searching and reference management to help overcome problems with wide variation in language skills, experience and pace of learning. She created a Blackboard Learning Module with short steps, tasks and videos for the students to work through at their own pace. This meant there was more time to advise students on their specific needs and less repetition of the same information. Feedback from students was positive.
