The learning outcomes online resource

Learning outcomes are statements that describe what students should know, understand and be able to do at the end of a learning period.  They are often given at the beginning of units, modules and/or sessions. This learning outcomes online resource has been designed to help you use your unit/module/session learning outcomes to structure your study, note-taking and revision. It also aims to help you assess the level and depth of learning that you are engaging in.

These tutorials have been produced in close collaboration with academic departments. If you can't see the subject you are looking for, and want to suggest one, fill in our online form (university log-in needed). We will then approach your department to discuss the creation of a tutorial for a particular discipline. In the meantime, you may find it helpful to choose a tutorial from a related, or similar, discipline to yours.
