Student Learning Development Associate

How does it work?

Drawing on your own experience of learning within Higher Education, this is an opportunity to work in partnership with other students, and academic and other University staff to influence your learning environment.

We have made the scheme as flexible as possible to enable you to decide on a project which meets the needs of your learning situation. The diagram below illustrates examples of types of projects to consider, but they are not a definitive list!

If you have an idea for an educational project, you will need to speak to us and staff and students within your department to put forward a convincing case for why the project is needed and should go ahead.

Getting accredited

To achieve HEAR recognition for your work, you will need to complete 10 hours of activity (which includes attending meetings and writing a brief report on the work you have done). We will guide you through these requirements, if you decide to apply for accreditation.

I'm interested - what should I do next?
