BAME Staff Equality Forum

The University of Leicester BAME (Black and Minority Ethnic) Staff Forum was set up in 2012, and welcomes new members at any time. The Staff Forum is a friendly staff group that provides a platform for staff with an interest in this area of equalities. Disability Staff Equality Forum

A Forum for disabled staff to discuss and raise issues about the management of disability in the University.  Discussions from the Forum have already resulted in feedback being given to the University to help inform decisions both about specific disability related issues (e.g. building design and adaptation) and to agreed processes and rules (e.g. car parking permits).  For more information please email

Women's Forum

The Women’s Forum supports the work and careers of women at the University of Leicester. The Forum focuses on information, inspiration and voice, and its meetings provide a platform for staff to raise and discuss women-specific issues of working in higher education, and to feed these issues into conversations across the University.
