eduroam wifi is available on campus and in University accommodation providing free access to the Internet for your laptop or mobile phone.

1. Forget eduroam wifi if used previously

If you have previously used eduroam wifi on your personal device, the app may not install correctly until you forget the eduroam network from your wifi settings.

2. Set up eduroam wifi using eduroam CAT

  1. On your phone, tablet or laptop, open your web browser, go to cat.eduroam.org
  2. Click on the button to install and follow the instructions
  3. Enter your full University email address as the username
    Students username@student.le.ac.uk
    Staff* username@le.ac.uk

*Staff - if you have a friendly email address you will need to use your University IT account username followed by @le.ac.uk. Example: If you have a friendly email address of ellie.acey@le.ac.uk.enter ea179@le.ac.uk to connect to eduroam wifi.

On campus, you can connect to the Setup-UniOfLeic-Wifi­ network to access instructions and cat.eduroam.org on devices without a 3G/4G data connection.
