MyStudentRecord is a web-based application which allows staff to manage information about their students and for students to view their study progress.

It provides access to the SITS database for staff working in academic departments and colleges. The SITS database is the University’s central repository for information relating to its students, and is used to support a wide range of administrative tasks across the University, and also to provide management information for internal and external reporting purposes.

How is it used across the University?

  • View application records for their department, including online application forms and associated electronic documents
  • Staff in departments who are responsible for processing Distance Learning applications can also create and update application records through e:Vision Admissions
  • Enter module marks into SITS, so that this information is available for central reporting and statutory returns
  • Update module information in preparation for the next academic year
  • Check Student Loans Company (SLC) loan notifications for individual students

  • MyStudentRecord is also used by students, for specific tasks such as online applications, enrolment and module registration.
