What to do if your University phone is lost or stolen.

If your phone is lost or stolen, we strongly recommend that you perform a factory reset to remove your data. A factory reset will reset your mobile phone back to its original state when first purchased. This includes the removal of the synchronisation settings with your University emails, the removal of any apps you have installed and another data which you may become compromised.

Perform a factory reset to remove your data

You can perform a factory reset yourself using your Microsoft or Apple account.

If you are unable to perform a factory reset yourself, you can contact the IT Service Desk to request a factory reset. All requests will be subject to security checks to ensure that the person making the request is the registered user of the phone.
