The GNU Scientific Library (GSL) is a set of numerical routines for C/C++ programmers.

There are two builds of GSL on ALICE, one built with GCC 4.3.4 and the other built with Intel's compilers.

Once you have loaded the appropriate module, you can set the compiler flags using the output from the gsl-config program:

Command Output
> gsl-config --cflags

Include flag and path
> gsl-config --libs

Linker path and library names
> gsl-config --libs-without-cblas
Linker path and library names excluding the GSL CBLAS implementation.  This allows you to include another implementation, for example the Intel MKL library.
