Responsibilities of a DLE Coordinator

One or more DLE coordinators have been identified for each department. As a DLE coordinator, you will be expected to:

  • Enrol other staff involved in the delivery of the modules onto the course sites. As a minimum, this must include enrolling the module convenor(s) as an Instructor on their module course site.
  • Ensure that module course sites have been made available to students by the start of teaching.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all Blackboard-related matters for other areas of the University, such as Student Services Centre, IT Services, Leicester Learning Institute and the University Library. This could include sharing notifications of times when Blackboard is unavailable and collating information on how Blackboard is used to ensure proposed changes work for your department.
