EndNote is a program that allows you to organise your references and format them in the reference style of your choice. It includes a Word add-in to so that you can cite while you write.

More information

EndNote is a bibliographic reference manager program that allows you to organise your references across multiple devices using a cloud service provided by Thomson Reuters.  It also offers the ability to share this data with the people you are working with and create bibliographies automatically by inserting references from your EndNote reference library into Word.

Anyone wishing to use this functionality should make sure that the data they sync does not breach the Universities Data Protection Policy.

Refworks is an alternative reference manager available online and is free for home use.
