Print, copy and scan

Printers are available in most Student PC Areas for you to print your work. These are known as Smart Printers, which can also photocopy and scan.

Print on campus

Login to a University PC in any Student PC AreaPDF icon to send items to print. You can then use any Smart Printer on campus to print out your documents.

Print from your personal device

You can print from your personal laptop, tablet or smartphone using Mobile Print. There are two methods of printing your documents:

Pay to print or copy

You’ll need to credit your printing account in order to pay for your printing.

New students* will receive £15 printer credit towards printing. Touch your University ID card on the reader of any Smart Printer to credit your printing account.

*This applies to students commencing study in September 2019. The printer credit is non-refundable.

By card

You can top up online with your debit or credit card at the print and copy website:

By cash

You can top up using cash at the cash kiosk located in the Photocopying Room on Floor 1 of the University Library. The cash kiosk accepts coins and notes.

Copy a document

Any Smart Printer on campus can photocopy. You will need to top up your printing account to pay for your photocopies.

Scan to email

You can scan documents and send them to your University email account using any Smart Printer.
