IT Service Desk
The IT Service Desk will be your first point of contact for any problems with your computer, programs or desk phone. The team are available to provide help and support to any staff or student at the University.
The best way of contacting the IT Service Desk is by phone on 0116 252 2253. Over 60% of calls are resolved straight away over the phone.

Monday - Friday | 8.30am - 5.00pm* UK time |

You can contact IT Services outside of these hours by using IT Self Service or if the issue is not urgent, by sending an email to ithelp@le.ac.uk.
*Staff meetings are held every other Friday from 3.30 - 4.30pm. The IT Service Desk will reopen at 4.30pm.
Maintenance Times
During these times, services may be unavailable or liable to interruption and you should not rely on them for any critical work.
University systems
IT Services sometimes need to carry out essential maintenance work to ensure that services continue to work reliably and securely. In order to minimise inconvenience to staff and students, we undertake this maintenance during these maintenance times which are outside the normal working day:

The IT Service Weekly news email is sent to your Departmental IT Contact with details of any planned disruptions and they should forward this to you.
News about IT is also announced through the News, Events and What's New section of the IT Services website and the IT Services group on Yammer.
