New programs available to install from the Program Installer

Need to create mind maps or subtitles for videos? These and other new programs are available for staff and students to install on University PCs.

Subtitle Workshop

With Subtitle Workshop, you can create subtitles for videos. You can create, edit and convert text-based subtitle files that are customisable and in sync with videos. Available for staff and students.

Mind Manager 15

Use Mind Manager to help you picture ideas as a mind map. The tool helps with collaboration and project management to visualise information through the creation of mind maps. Available for staff only.


Fiji (Fiji is Just ImageJ) is an image processing package, providing the ability to avoid the need to install multiple plugins from different sources. Available for staff and students.


A Thermoelectric Module (TEM) Simulation program that selects the optimal TEMs for a trial. Available for staff and students.

Aperture Photometry Tool

A software for astronomical research and learning, visualising and refining aperture-photometry analyses. Available for Physics members only.
