How to make changes

When someone in your department makes a request for a change, you need to decide whether it is appropriate.

Changes to folders, permissions and X: drive managers

  • The checklists below will help you to make decisions about individual access to folders
  • The X Drive Folder Report for your department provides a list of current folders and which Access Groups have permission to them.

  • Some actions can be completed by the X: drive coordinator using the Group Membership Tool.  For other actions you need to submit an X: Drive Change Request form to IT Services.  For top level folder changes, the X: drive owner will need to contact the IT Service Desk.
