Request a mobile phone

As a Departmental IT Contact you will be able to submit requests for mobile phones on behalf of your department.

This is not the same as authorising the user to have a mobile phone, the requester should have this authorised by their Head of Department or the budget holder.

You are only confirming:

  • Written agreement from the Head of Department or the budget holder that you can order a University mobile phone. The authorisation should be attached to the Support Request where it will be retained by IT Services
  • The user accepts the Mobile Phone Conditions of Use
  • The cost centre that the mobile phone should be charged to
  • If the information above is in place you should be able to place an order using the Request a new University mobile phone form (login required)
  • The phone will be delivered to you, normally within five working days, subject to stock availability
