Maintenance affecting staff and PGRs with usernames beginning with ‘s’ on Monday, 16 September 2019, from 6am to 9am

This maintenance affects staff and Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) with usernames beginning with ‘s’ on Monday, 16 September 2019 from 6.00am for about three hours.

During this time, they won’t be able to login to a University PC or access their Personal Z: drive.

What

The University storage used by staff whose usernames begins with ‘s’, are being increased in size. This will enable staff to continue to be able to save their work. Whilst this maintenance is carried out, they will not be able to login to a University PC or access their Personal Z: drive.

What won't be available?

If you are a member of staff or Postgraduate Researcher (PGR) and your username starts with ‘s’ (e.g. ss123) you will not be able to use the following during the maintenance:

  • Login to any University PC on campus
  • Access to Personal Z: drive
  • Remote access to files using MyFiles

All other staff (with usernames not beginning with ‘s’) and all students will be unaffected.
