University wifi maintenance – disruption Tuesday, 10 December 2019 7.30am - 8.30am

Essential maintenance is required to University wifi on Tuesday, 10 December 2019 from 7.30am to 8.30am. You will not be able to use eduroam wifi, visitor wifi provided by the cloud and wifi used by University staff laptops for about 30 minutes during this time.


Important updates to the systems that provide University wifi will be applied, to resolve issues when connecting and using these services. This work will take place during the advertised Tuesday, 10 December 2019 morning IT maintenance period.

This will affect all wifi on campus, including:

  • eduroam wifi
  • Visitor wifi provided by The Cloud
  • wifi used by University staff laptops when they are not docked

You will not be able to connect to these wifi networks, access the internet, receive new emails, access files etc. during the maintenance.

What will not be affected

You will be able to login and use a University PC (desktop). If you have a University staff laptop, you can continue to work if it is docked and connected with a cable.


Tuesday, 10 December 2019 7.30am to 8.30am

You will not be able to access or use University wifi for about half an hour during this time.
