Work affecting University Telephones: Thursday 25 January 2018, 7.30am – 9:00am

Essential maintenance will be carried out on analogue telephones in the Attenborough Tower and Building on Thursday 25 January 2018 between 7.30am and 9.00am. During this time, the University telephones in these areas will be unavailable.

What

Essential maintenance work is being carried out to the telephony equipment serving Attenborough Tower and building analogue phones.  

During the maintenance, University staff telephones in these areas will be completely unavailable. However, staff with voicemail configured will still be able to receive voicemails, should external calls come in.

What won't be available?

You will not be able to use the University analogue telephones in Attenborough Tower or building for outgoing or incoming calls during the maintenance.

What will be available?

There will be no impact to the PC service or to IP phones. All other IT services should be unaffected. University owned mobile telephones will continue to work as usual.
