At this busy time of year, we may not respond to email quickly. If you need immediate assistance, phone the IT Service Desk for IT help or Teaching room support (x2919) to resolve issues in learning and teaching rooms.

The IT Service Desk is at its busiest time of year. Support for new students, as well as providing help for IT changes over the summer, on top of the normal support enquiries, creates additional demand. At the moment, we are receiving over 400 enquiries per day, with nearly half of those by email. There is an increasing backlog due to high demand and this is delaying responses to emailed by up to 11 days at present.

  • Use IT Self Service to report an issue or make a request
  • The teaching room support phone number (0116 252 2919) is a priority number to provide urgent assistance to resolve issues in learning and teaching rooms. IT help calls will not be accepted.
  • Where possible, contact the IT Service Desk well in advance, so that we have time to respond before your request becomes urgent
