Completed: MyPGR improvements – maintenance on Monday, 20 July 2020

The University Postgraduate Research Management System, MyPGR has been upgraded.

The University Postgraduate Research Management System, MyPGR will be upgraded on Monday, 20 July 2020. You should avoid using MyPGR during the maintenance, which is expected to last for the whole day.

Staff and PGRs who use MyPGR will be contacted about the improvements, when available on Tuesday, 21 July 2020.

What

A further 29 processes will be added to the system. This will make MyPGR the one place to manage all of the processes that form part of a Postgraduate Researchers journey with the University.

Which processes are being added to MyPGR?

  • Probation Review
  • Progress Review
  • Change Requests – move to writing up status, registration extension, increase word limit, change in mode of study or course, suspension/return from suspense, request for off campus study/return from off campus study, withdrawal
  • Assessment – notice of intention to submit, nomination of examiners, viva arrangements, pre/post viva exam report, thesis embargo
  • First, resubmission and final thesis submission
  • Attendance - post-submission Tier 4 check in, annual leave
  • Supervisory Team Changes - appoint external supervisor, change supervisor

When

Monday, 20 July 2020 Avoid using MyPGR during for the whole day
Tuesday, 21 July 2020 Staff and PGRs who use MyPGR will be contacted about the improvements when available
