After reviewing the incident on Tuesday, we have made changes to our storage to ensure there is no further outage. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will provide an update tomorrow.

Following maintenance work yesterday the issue is still under investigation. An update will be provided later today.

Maintenance work has now been completed. The cause of the disruption is still under investigation, however, steps have been taken to ensure that stability of our systems continue to perform during this critical time of year.

Essential planned maintenance is scheduled to take place today to resolve the disruption experienced yesterday.

During the maintenance, you may experience a brief outage at either 2pm, 2.45pm or 3.30pm depending on your username and account type (staff vs. student type).

Icons on your desktop may become unavailable. Should this happen, you will be able to refresh this by pressing F5.

We are continuing to investigate this issue. There has not been a further reoccurrence since this morning's outage. We remain vigilant due to the business critical time of year.

This morning the University experienced a performance outage affecting usernames L-Z between 9.30-10.10am.

A workaround has been put in place to restore stability, and we are working with our suppliers to resolve the underlying issue.
