Uninstall Office 2011 for Mac and start using Office 2016 for Mac

Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac is no longer supported by Microsoft or the University. Therefore you should uninstall Office 2011 for Mac now and start using Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac, the latest version of the software, to continue receiving security and feature updates, and technical support.

How to un-install and remove Office 2011 for Mac:

Mac Assured Service Users


  1. Tap on Mac Self-Service
  2. Under Categories, tap on Uninstallers
  3. Find the Remove MS Office 2011 icon, and click on remove.


Manual Assured Users
Follow Microsoft’s Uninstall instructions and then complete a Software Request Form.
