SAP maintenance - unavailable 4pm on Friday 16 March 2018 until 6am on Monday 19 March 2018

An important upgrade to SAP will take place from 4.00pm on Friday 16 March 2018 until 6.00am on Monday 19 March 2018. At this time, SAP (including Employee Self Service, LUCRE and any other component of SAP) will be unavailable

What

This maintenance is the annual SAP Upgrade which will ensure SAP is supported by the supplier and allow new features to be introduced in due course.

Additionally, Employee Self-Service will be unavailable [Link to ESS article] at this time as well. Staff will not be able to view their payslip or amend their personal details during the weekend of the maintenance.

What won't be available?

You will not be able to use the following during the SAP upgrade:

  • ALL SAP live applications:
    • Finance
    • Purchasing (including Smarter Purchasing)
    • HR
    • Payroll
    • Estates
    • Employee Self-Service
    • Grants management
    • LUCRE
    • All systems that rely on data from SAP

What will be available?

All other IT services should be unaffected.
