Students will intensively study Japanese language and enjoy learning the Japanese culture while taking part in various hands-on cultural experiences such as calligraphy, flower arrangement, sumo wrestling, Japanese archery, and more!

There are no tuition waivers available for the KGU summer programme.

The program fee will be divided into six plans according to the course level and the accommodation choice.

JAPAN Waseda University

20 June  - 16 July 2020

Waseda Summer Session provides classes, field trips and cultural based activities. Classes are taught in English, and you choose 2 out of 14 subjects for your programme. Japanese classes can be taken as optional courses.

Extracurricular field trips, site visits, cultural events offered.

Please note that you must have an average GPA of 2.5 out of 4 (or equivalent) to be eligible.

There are no tuition waivers available for the Waseda summer programme.

  • Programme fees: 2 courses as well as the housing fee is 490,000 yen. This includes airport pickup, field trip to Nikko and cultural activities.

CAU's International Summer Program (ISP) is a hybrid program providing students with a window into Korea, where courses are coupled with cultural experiences that foster an understanding of Korea’s Culture and Society.

The program is broken into two sessions, Session 1 and Session 2.
Session 1 is more theme oriented, and you can take classes from the following themes:
  • Business
  • Technology
  • International Relations
  • Software Engineering
  • Media Studies
  • Korean Language
You will also take a mandatory Korean Survival Class.
Session 2 is based on the Korean Language, and you will take either basic, intermediate, or advanced Korean. You will also have a Korean Culture and Society class (taught in English)
