The University is committed to actively supporting the health and well-being of all members of staff.  It is recognised that we are all individuals; support may be different, therefore, depending on many contributing factors.

Workplace stress can be one of these factors, and that is taken very seriously by the University, as well as nationally, and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has a set of Management Standards relating to work-related stress.  The University’sAdobe Acrobat (PDF) Policy and Procedure (PDF, 927 KB), on the management of stress is written in line with these standards, to effectively support staff in the workplace to identify and reduce stresses.
