The University of Leicester Pension and Assurance Scheme (PAS), closed to future benefit accrual on 31st March 2016. New members of staff on Grades 1 to 5 are eligible to join the University's Stakeholder Pension Scheme, which is administered by FriendsLife.

Slides from presentations given by FriendsLife to active PAS members who were due to be auto-enrolled into the University's Stakeholder Pension Scheme on 1st April 2016 are available in pdf format below.

There are three separate presentations, GENERAL, REVALUED and SPECIAL, the applicability of each depends on the individual members length of service in PAS as follows:

  • GENERAL - for PAS members who joined after 31 January 1998
  • REVALUED - for PAS members who joined the Scheme between 1 July 1991 and 31 January 1998
  • SPECIAL - for PAS members who joined prior to 1 July 1991
