Media Monitoring

precise.jpgThe University is monitoring its media coverage through the services of a media agency, Precise

Precise provides:

  • Highly detailed summarised alerts
  • Sectorised and segmented reports
  • Report creation on volume, media type, AVEs (Advertising Value Equivalents) and reach at the click of a button
  • Ability to stream broadcast media clips

The service allows Colleges to track print and broadcast coverage through monthly reports and provides daily alerts on how our experts are featured in the media.  Our reputation surveys have consistently shown that being talked about and known for something is a strong indicator for how well you are perceived, and media monitoring provides a platform upon which we can build public perception of what we do and seek to achieve.

What you need to do now:

Monthly reports

Precise collates print, online and broadcast news coverage mentioning the University of Leicester. The News Centre will produce a general summary report on a monthly basis.

Daily alerts

In addition to the central database, from which these monthly reports are produced, Precise creates daily summarised alerts of the University’s mentions. If you would like to subscribe to these alerts, received each morning, you must email er134@le.ac.uk with the subject line: Precise alerts subscribe. Please note, if you do not request to receive the daily alerts you will not receive them.
