A day to kick back and relax and reward our student volunteers and staff.

On the 8th June 2016, Brookfield Campus will host the annual Sustainability Festival brought together by the Environment Team, Environmental Action and Hungry for Change, to reward volunteers for all their hard work done in 2015-16.

It’s been a big year for Hungry for Change who are becoming self-sustaining and enterprising as they continue their journey completely student-led from July. The Environmental Action Society have been working hard on campaigns this year, and with the Chair now the newly elected Activities Officer of the Students Union, we can only hope for more great things to come. And whilst the student societies have boomed this year, as has our SEED fund projects and Sustainable Development Programme - with 5 strong projects starting this year off, and 30 successful students gaining our programme certificate, everyone felt that it was important that students knew that the effort they’ve put in this year was appreciated and the Sustainability Festival is a great way to say “Thanks” and “Well done”.

The main attraction of the event this year feature a free BBQ, Inflatable Bungee Run, Bubble Football, Drumming Workshop, Face-painter, Team Games and a Quiz to name a few.

Staff are invited to join the Environment Team in celebrating another successful year by taking part in the Fruit and Veg Cake-off on Wednesday June 8th!
