Carbon & Energy Reporting

Annual energy (gas and electricity) and water consumption including carbon emissions.

The Automated Meter Reading systems at the University of Leicester make it easier to spot the potential for new energy efficiency projects by creating more comprehensive energy consumption data. For more information on our Automated Meter Reading systems please have a look at our AMR Presentation.

Our 2015/16 absolute carbon emissions are 22% lower than baseline.

This table represents the Academic buildings and Halls of Residence annual emissions related to energy (gas and electricity).

It also shows scope 3 waste, water and procurement emissions.

This information is provided to the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) every year.

Travel data has been reported from 2015/16.
