A staff network underpinning University strategy with key goals in sustainability and social responsibility

We want you to join our Positive Impact Network as one of sixty coordinators to support our CSR and sustainability goals. Our aim is to have sixty members of staff to cover all departments and divisions so good practice can be encouraged and feedback given in every corner of the University.pin

As a coordinator, your main role would be to promote positive environmental and socially responsible behaviours amongst staff and students. The Environment Team will supply you with the right tools and knowledge you need and offer continual support so you can give advice, communicate and get involved at a level you are comfortable with.

PIN is about creating a positive impact inside the University and in the local community.

 

Positive Impact Coordinator Job Description

Example responsibilities you might expect:

  • Encourage involvement and assist with University wide initiatives, campaigns and events e.g. Education for Sustainable Development Forum (ESD)
  • Promote and drive change in departmental policies and practices that will reduce negative environmental impacts
  • Point of contact for staff and students, bringing questions, suggestions and concerns to the Environment Team
