Race Equality Foundation

The Race Equality Foundation promotes race equality in social support (what families and friends do for each other) and social care (what 'workers' do for people who need support).  They develop interventions that will overcome barriers and promote equality.

The Race Equality Centre, Leicester

The Race Equality Centre in Leicester and Leicestershire (TREC) - is a voluntary organisation that was established under the name of the Leicester Racial Equality Council in 1991.  They challenge discrimination as defined by the Race Relations Act 1976; and further strengthened by the Race Relations Act (Amendment) Act and the Human Rights Act 1998.
