Time to Change Pledge

A campaign to end the stigma and discrimination that people with mental health problems face in England.

The University has committed to participating in the Employers Time to Change Pledge.  As part of our commitment we have developed an action plan which outlines our ambitions to raise awareness and support in relation to Mental Health wellbeing.

The Time to Change pledge is run by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, with funding from the Department of Health, Comic Relief and the Big Lottery Fund. Time to Change is a social movement made up of hundreds of thousands of individuals and organisations across England, who are all doing their bit to change the way the nation thinks and acts when it comes to mental health.

Time to Change began in 2007, more than two million people have improved attitudes, and more people than ever are able to be open about their mental health problems.
