We're looking for a Communications & Events Officer and an Office Administrator - both part-time posts (17.5 hours per week)

It's an exciting time for the Association as we add two new part-time posts to our staffing structure.

Communications and Events Officer

£18,777 to £21,585 per annum pro rata

You will play a significant role in the maintenance and development of procedures to ensure the effective delivery of the Association’s communications and events activities. You have a wide range of responsibilities including developing and promoting the Association, its publications and activities. In addition to maintaining our website, you will also ensure the relevant social media channels are monitored and maintained with marketing and publicity including press releases. You will take responsibility for conferences and other events, including the AGM and other committees.

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent attention to detail and extensive experience in a similar role. You will be detail-orientated, methodical and systematic in your approach, using your well-developed oral and written communication skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders. Working to tight deadlines you will take responsibility for agreed targets, working proactively and flexibly.

Office Administrator

£18,777 to £21,585 per annum pro rata

You will play a significant role in the maintenance and development of systems and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of the Association’s activities. You have a wide range of responsibilities including general office administration, payments of bills and invoices and health and safety responsibilities such as acting as Fire Warden. You will assist the Communications and Events Officer in their role, as well providing support to the Chief Executive in servicing committees.

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent attention to detail and extensive experience in a similar role. You will be detail-orientated, methodical and systematic in your approach, using your well-developed oral and written communication skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders. Working to tight deadlines you will take responsibility for agreed targets, working proactively and flexibly.
