Full Time English Study Taster

Full-time international students at The University of Leicester are able to attend both pre-sessional and in-sessional courses within the English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU). Below you can find a short experience, or taster, of the type of support that students will receive on these courses.

Pre-sessional courses

Below are 4 sections for you to get a taster of how we help international students with:

Academic Reading, Academic Writing, Academic Listening and Academic Speaking.

The topic of the material is King Richard III, in particular the discovery of his lost body in Leicester in 2012 by a team from The University of Leicester.  Richard III was King of England over 500 years ago.  The discovery of his body was big news all over the UK and the world.
