Free General English Classes

Free classes taught by trainee teachers covering grammar, vocabulary and skills.

The English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) is running the CELTA course, which is a teacher training course for teaching English to adults. As part of the course, our trainee teachers need to teach real lessons, and therefore we need students to attend the classes!

Levels and timetable

We are offering these lessons as free classes for adults that want to improve their English. These classes are not just for University of Leicester staff and students and we welcome applications from any adult in the local community. The classes available depend on the time of year.
