Yoga for Stress & Anxiety

Yoga Therapy for Anxiety and Stress treats the body and mind together to calm the nervous system and alleviate symptoms such as tension, restlessness and rumination.

Sessions involve movement, grounding and mindfulness practices including the use of different postures and sequences, breathing exercises and guided meditation. You do not have to be fit or flexible to attend, or have had any previous experience of yoga.

This is a group intervention that runs for 6 weeks and we recommend you attend all sessions to get the most out of the programme as each session builds on the one before.

Each session is an hour long and will run on a Wednesday afternoon from 3pm-4pm. Mats will be provided. You just need to wear something comfortable and bring a bottle of water.

Term 2:

Dates: 29th January - 4th March

Term 2 & 3:

This group will run for 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after the Easter break.

Dates: 18th - 25th Mar & 29th Apr - 13th May
