Mental Wellbeing

Offers a range of advice, support and information to students about mental health and wellbeing.

AccessAbility Centre

Offers services and support for students with dyslexia, and other specific learning difficulties, disabilities and long term conditions.

Student Welfare Service

Provides information, advice and guidance for prospective and current students, parents, and staff on a wide range of practical and personal issues, such as:

  • Specialist support, immigration advice, visa renewal scheme, welcome and farewell activities for international students.
  • Financial information and advice on funding issues, hardship funds, maximising income, assistance with registration.
  • Comprehensive information and advice on housing issues including contracts, issues with housemates and neighbours, safety and security.

Healthy Living

Supports students to enjoy a healthy and balanced life and is able to direct and refer students to appropriate health care services at times of ill health.


A team of chaplains offering  help, engagement and activities for everyone, of any faith or none, for individuals, groups and societies.

Offers an extensive range of information and support on career related issues, such as:

  • Career planning, job application and interview advice, work experience, volunteering opportunities, gaining and using transferable skills, joining student groups, business start-up and enterprise information.
