How can I get some advice/support?

Our webpages offer a lot of helpful information, whether you want to gain some experience, apply for a job or explore your career options.

We also offer a large range of appointments and workshops that cover every aspect of the recruitment process.Currently, these workshops are available as reflect recordings which you can access at any time from this link. If after accessing a workshop recording you would like some more support, please book an appointment with one of our trained careers advisers.

You can book an appointment on the day or up to two weeks in advance. Remember to give yourself time to complete the preparation materials before you attend – these will be sent to you via email once you’ve made a booking.

What if I can’t make it onto campus?

That’s OK. All of our appointments can take place via Telephone or Skype, just let us know your preferred contact method when you make your booking.

Careers guidance and support for applications can also be provided by submitting a query through MyCareers. For detailed instructions on how to do this please use the MyCareers student user guide. This process will ensure that your query is responded to within one working day.

When are you open?

  • Term-time: we are open 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
  • Vacation periods: we are open 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, except during University closures over Christmas and Easter periods - details of these can be found here.
