Final Year, Future You

You’re in the final year of your degree. It could be your third year, maybe your fourth or even your fifth – depending on what you’re studying and whether you spent a year abroad or in industry. What matters is that graduation is only a few months away, so now is the time to really concentrate on your career search (without, obviously, compromising your study and revision!).

As you launch yourself into the job market, or prepare for further study, you’ll need to be clear about:

  • What skills and experience you have
  • What you want to achieve
  • What employers and institutions want
  • Which roles or courses you are interested in
  • How you can tailor your applications to demonstrate your skills and experience.

Remember: it’s a lot easier to find something if you know what you’re looking for.
