Volunteering

Get involved in some superb one-off or short term volunteering opportunities.

Finding More Volunteering Opportunities

  • Subscribe to our fortnightly Volunteering e-Bulletin to receive updates on new and upcoming volunteering opportunities, all of which you can count towards completing your Leicester Award. Update your email preferences on MyCareers by ticking volunteering.
  • Once you’ve logged into MyCareers, click on the ‘Opportunities’ tab, then ‘Find Opportunity’ and select ‘Volunteering.’  We advise you to review the role descriptions and level of commitment to check your suitability prior to applying.
  • You can also search for opportunities locally to Leicester by visiting www.do-it.org.uk
  • If you have any questions or would like further help in finding a suitable role, email volunteer@le.ac.uk
