What’s available?

Rainmaker Challenge - Compete in teams to turn £10 into as much profit as you can in 3 weeks.  You’ll learn the basics of starting a business and how to use business to drive real positive change, and get the chance to win prizes for you and your team!

ENACTUS - A student group committed to using entrepreneurial action to improve life for people in need.  Enactus offers a way to apply your skills on practical social impact projects.  You’ll have the chance to empower communities, network with headline employers and build skills for your CV.

Pro-action Café - Work with people living and studying locally to find innovative approaches to improve life in Leicester.  Each Café is themed and hosted by experts seeking your help to explore new solutions to local social issues.  Build your networking and problem solving skills whilst contributing to your local community.

Virgin Startup: LifeStart
- An exciting opportunity to design and pitch creative solutions to challenges presented by brands like Samsung and Virgin Money through Virgin Startup’s new online platform.  Build your enterprising skills and knowledge and be in with the chance to win exciting prizes like internships, latest technology devices and discounts!  You can sign up to LifeStart for free here.


Once you have completed your Leicester Award you can take part in the Leicester Award Gold Business Start-up programme if you select this pathway as your preferred choice.
