I don't know what I want to do

Don't KnowIf you don’t know what you want to do next – don’t worry, you’re not alone!

Making such an important choice can feel daunting, but there are lots of support available to help you think about what your next step might be. We can help you think beyond your degree and draw on your personal strengths.

Get to know yourself

Starting to learn a bit more about yourself can really help you make that first step in career planning.

That’s where the Plan Your Future programme comes in. The programme will help you get to know yourself and your motivations, identify your strengths and gain practical experience so that when it comes to graduating, you’re in a great position to start your career.

You’ll be supported as you start working out what you want to do next, and will leave equipped with the knowledge and skills you need to take that first step.

Because we know that time is precious, we’ve included everything you need to know in one handy workshop, designed to fit around your studies. The workshop is taking place on Wednesday 15 January - book your place through MyCareers.

What’s more, if you pass the mock application, you’ll achieve the Leicester Award Gold, unlocking access to an exclusive suite of activities and benefits not available to other students.

These include exclusive job roles, fast-track recruitment events, mentoring by industry professionals and membership to the Bright Network, who partner with over 300 leading employers including Accenture, Bloomberg, Civil Service Fast Stream, Clifford Chance, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, M&S, Morgan Stanley, Skyscanner and Vodafone.
