With a student population of almost 25,000, we’re the perfect place for you to advertise your jobs. Whether they’re part-time, vacation or voluntary positions, full-time or placement opportunities, we can make sure that they’re being seen by the right students at the right time.

Our vacancy website, MyCareers, gets around 1,000 hits a week, and we also circulate regular bulletins - and what’s more, the whole vacancy advertising service is free.

You can add your vacancies directly to the advertising portal and effectively manage your own jobs, as well as update jobs or contact details incredibly easily.

How to register

New employers must first register online (you need only register once).
You will be notified by email when your registration has been approved. Once registered, you can use your User ID and password to login to advertise vacancies.

Advertise a role

To post a role you need to login, and MyCareers will guide you through the quick uploading process. Once you have submitted your role it will be reviewed and posted by our vacancy team, who will contact you to confirm the role is live.
Please note - by submitting a role you are confirming you have read and agree to our advertising policy.

  • Graduate roles
  • Summer internships (up to 12 weeks)
  • Placement/sandwich years (3 - 12 months)
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Part-time roles
  • Work and study abroad opportunities

Our advertising policy

The Career Development Service will only advertise unpaid opportunities that are exempt from the National Minimum Wage legislation (e.g. those that are in registered charities, not-for-profit organisations, voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises). Please refer to our advertising policy for more details.

Additional advertising and publicity options

We offer a range of options to help raise awareness of your roles, these include LCD screens across the campus, supportive social media campaigns, departmental career tutors and student groups and societies.To find out more about the options available and associated costs please contact us.
