Library Support

During your initial appointment with a member of staff in the AccessAbility Centre, you will be invited to complete a memo that will inform the Library of your specific learning difficulty or disability. This will enable you to ask for additional support from certain members of staff within the Library.

The Library also has a White Card Scheme which assists students with invisible, but debilitating, conditions to have help from Library staff with photocopying material and collecting books for issue, for example.  White Cards are only available from the AccessAbility Centre.

AccessAbility Centre staff can also arrange a one to one appointment with a member of Library staff as necessary.

Information about the ways in which the Library can assist you during your time at the University, specifically written for library users with a disability or specific learning difficulty.
