Planned meetings

Meetings can be difficult for people with AS, especially if more than one other person is there.

However, usually meetings are a useful way to get people together to discuss an issue or give out information, for example, the details of a field trip or assignments are often explained to whole groups.

It is important to let people know if this is not a helpful system for you.

Otherwise, put a reminder of the meeting in your organiser, attend the meeting, take notes or ask for the key points to be written down for you.

If you cannot get to the meeting, or miss some of the information, email the organiser or your study adviser / buddy  / mentor and tell them so they can help you get what was missed.
