Choosing Where To Publish

This session is for PhD students who are new to publishing their research, or are seeking to publish via new or alternative ways. A lot of time and energy can be saved by choosing the most appropriate route through which to publish your research. In this session we will share and discuss common practices in journal and book publishing, look at alternative publication channels and introduce methods to select and evaluate publication options. This session will help you Gain an overview of the publishing landscape for researchers Learn about the tools available for evaluating journals and publishers Practice selecting journals and developing a publishing strategy.
