Linear Regression Model using R

This session will extend the basic statistical concepts of hypothesis testing to more complex modelling scenarios encountered in many datasets. It will begin with an introduction of a simple linear regression model and the statistical theory underpinning such a model. It will then move to more complex modelling scenarios including multiple regression, polynomial regression and non-linear regression. The session will explain the strategies of data analyses, interpretation of model outcomes and practical issues relevant to such models. It aims to combine both the theoretical background of statistical principles and its implementation in the R software environment so that attendees understand both the concepts and its applications.
