Analysis of Variance using R

This session will extend the basic statistical concepts of hypothesis testing to more complex experimental settings. It will cover basics of experimental design, one-way, two-way analysis of variance with and without blocking structure, explanation of interaction effect, statistical power calculation and other important statistical designs commonly encountered in several biological research areas. Using the R software environment, the session will explain the complexities of experimental designs and strategies of data analyses. It will consider both the theoretical background of statistical principles and its implementation in the R software environment, helping participants to gain a deeper understanding.
